Yahoo slashes 10% of workforce
The beleaguered Internet company says it will layoff more than 1,500
employees in the fourth quarter; sales and profits for third quarter
match forecasts.

NEW YORK — Yahoo announced Tuesday that it plans to
cut at least 10% of its workforce, or more than 1,500 employees, in
the fourth quarter in an effort reduce costs.

The struggling Internet company also announced sales for the third
quarter that were roughly in line with Wall Street’s forecasts and
earnings that matched expectations.

Yahoo had 15,200 employees at the end of the third quarter. The
much-anticipated round of layoffs comes on the heels of another 1,000
job cuts in late January.

"We have been disciplined about balancing investments with cost
management all year, and have now set in motion initiatives to reduce
costs and enhance productivity," said Yahoo co-founder and CEO Jerry
Yang in a written statement.

Why Two-Tier Affiliate Programs are Best

September 6th, 2008 by Tantanh

When you join an affiliate program or start an affiliate program of your own, you have to decide whether it will be a single tier or two-tier affiliate program. With a single tier program you earn a commission on any sales you make and that is it. If you are running your own affiliate program, you pay your affiliates a commission for any sales they refer and that is all.

However, with a two-tier program, affiliates are allowed to recruit sub-affiliates and are paid a small percentage of the sales these sub-affiliates generate. For example, the affiliates may earn a 30% commission for selling product X himself; and when one of the sub-affiliates makes a sale, the affiliate may get a 10% commission as well. This is very profitable for the affiliate as he can recruit an army of sub-affiliates, all earning commissions for him without any effort on his part except for the initial recruiting process.

“Why I’m Completely FURIOUS At Derek Gehl
and His Team Of Internet Marketing Experts…”

(And How I Managed To Score You Some FREE Stuff
By Laying A Formal Complaint…)

I’ve been doing business online for a lot of years now.

More than I can count…

So when I saw what Internet marketing guru Derek Gehl started doing about 2 weeks ago, I was more than a little miffed…

… I was downright furious!

See, over the years I’ve joined a lot of “free” Internet marketing communities. You’ve probably seen them… Discussion forums and chat rooms hosted by other so-called Internet marketing experts.

You’re promised “unlimited access” to these gurus… But you almost NEVER see them online. And they rarely stoop to answer questions from us “little guys.”

So you’re left talking to other wanna-be entrepreneurs, which is great when you need moral support. But if you want to learn how to make REAL money online, who do YOU want to talk to…?

The guy who is making squat for sales with his brand new website?

Or, the guy who is making MILLIONS online every year?

Yeah, me too! I want to talk to the guy who’s making millions!
